Mykl was born in Ringwood, Victoria, Australia in 1959.
Over the years he has developed into an incredibly versatile and Internationally recognised Fusion Violinist and Composer. Add to that a Teacher, Producer, Independent Artists Consultant, Founder and Managing Director of the Ascension World Music Production House and AURArecords.
And through this Mykl continues to assist and inspire others to greater heights, as he himself lives with the crippling FMS - CFS syndrome.

Mykl began his musical career at the age of 10 learning Violin, making his debut at the Melbourne Town Hall performing from the age of 11.
In 1974 at the tender age of only 15, Mykl was accepted into the Victorian College of the Arts. The youngest person ever to enter the acclaimed tertiary institution, where he studied fulltime for his Degree in Music.

Over the past two decades Mykl has gathered a wealth of experience having performed and recorded in Australia, Fiji, England, Europe, China, Asia and Japan.
Mykl has performed locally, nationally and internationally with Symphony Orchestras, Choirs, Rock Bands, Jazz Groups, Irish and Country Bands.

Mykl has recorded, supported and performed with so many great legendry artists over the years his bio reads like a who's who in the music business. Mykl has made many radio and television appearances including the Ray Martin Show, the Bert Newton Show, Country Wide, Healthy Wealthy & Wise, Good Morning Australia, Tamworth Country Music Awards, Tooheys Cup Challenge, plus ABC, Asian, BBC, and European broadcasts.
Performing in many charity concerts in Australia and overseas for Royalty, Prime Ministers and VIPs, culturally representing Australia in places such as London, Hiroshima, Beijing, East and West Berlin.

Mykl has been a familiar face at many National Festivals in Australia and has now been recorded on more han '150 Albums and CDs Worldwide', including Merril Bainbridge's No1. Smash Hit 'Mouth.'

Mykl thinks of himself as more of a fractal composer than a traditional songwriter.  Writing the new and reworking the old he released the Independent CD 'Ascension - the 7th Wave' in Feb 1999 with friend and co-writer Steve Davies on Didgeridoo.
 
In Feb 2000 Mykl released the CD 'Noisse Vol 1' A collection of studio sessions and live performances spanning 12 years involving national recording artists from around Australia.
In May ~ June 2000 an Australian tour with his band 'Southern Cross' with the CD Single 'Go Australia'
co-written with Steve Davies and Cliff McAulay for the 'Australian Women's Water Polo Team' who later won the Gold Medal at the Sydney Olympics, was receiving airplay and also performed at several
pre-Olympic concerts.

During November 2000 Melbourne based musicians Keith Stone - 5 str Bass and Richard Walters - Drums / Percussion were welcomed to form Mykl's new and Alternative Fusion Band 'ZAP.com', which is now signed to AURArecords.
In Dec 2000 'AURArecords - Artists in Concert' debut with the first live performance of Mykl and Keith's new music to a totally full house of eagerly awaiting fans and industry people with huge success and much accolade. 
The third Ascension CD release 'TO TRUTH A DANCE' involved collaborations with the Bass virtuoso Keith Stone, leading Australian Didge artist Steve Davies, and one of the world's jazz greats 'Joe Zawinul', it is with little wonder that Mykl Lozin has been acclaimed many, many times as one of Australia's most unique and exciting talents, pushing the boundaries of all musical styles with his total dedication and Ten CD's of original music crossing all styles with the most exciting and memorable showcase performances always.

This multi award winning Violinist and his record company is actively supporting and promoting Independent Artists helping them bring their music to the world.

Mykl currently freelances & performs with "The Punter Band" an awesome collective of musicians featuring some of Australia's finest Rock Legends including Stevie Wright, Ray Hoff, Phil Emmanuel, Ian Mason, Dennis Wilson, Smokey Joe Robinson, Rob Bostock and many others.
