Australia's Youngest Guitar Legend


I was introduced to Joe in 2006 and we forged a friendship that will last a lifetime.  With his belief, passion and disciplined focus on his craft, he found that express route to stardom and now shares his wonderful genius to audiences with critical acclaim the world over.   Joe Robinson is a musician's musician, and one of Australia's best loved artists.  
Having shared the stage with Joe quite a few times I can say it is an exhilarating experience.

 Marvelled at by the likes of Les Paul, Brad Paisley, Steve Vai, Tommy Emmanuel, Steve Cropper and Dweezil Zappa – few doubt this young man is destined for greatness.

Coming from a tiny town in the Australian ‘bush’, Joe started to play the guitar at the age of 10. Exhausting his guitar teacher in 12 months, Joe began to teach himself from the Internet.Soon enough Joe was in demand as a touring and session guitar player, working with some of the top names in the Australian music industry.

In 2005 he recorded his debut album ‘Birdseed’, and headed over to Nashville after being invited toperform with one of his guitar heroes, Tommy Emmanuel.  It was there he met Frank Rogers, Billboard Magazines #1 country producer, and 3 x Grammy winner, who offered to produce Joe’s next record.

After winning $250,000 in the hit Television show,  ‘Australia's Got Talent’ – Joe scooted back to Nashville to hit the studio.  Time Jumpin was released in Australia during may of 2009, and Joe’s new lifestyle of touring the world with a guitar and a suitcase is building him a legion of fans worldwide.

Returning to the USA in June, 2009 – Joe took out the ‘Senior Grand Champion Performer of The World’ award at the ‘World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, CA… a competition that draws 75,000 auditions from over 40 countries worldwide.  Judged against the best Models, Actors, Dancers and Singers – Joe is the first instrumentalist to take top honours.

As well as being an incredible guitar player, Joe has strong creative visions and is constantly exploring new sounds on his instrument. Joe is also a passionate composer, energetic live performer – and a humble, approachable guy.
