GEOFF PETERKIN
Lead Vocalist / Drums / Acoustic Guitar / Songwriter... Geoff was previously the Drummer for OL’55, The Hitmen, & Springwater amongst others.
His song “Watching Dreams” was a finalist in the Tamworth Songwriters Assoc.

Finalists 2001, Winners 2002, Finalists 2003, Finalists 2004… Best Victorian Group, (Victorian Country Music Awards), as well as being multiple finalists in the Best Album and Best Male Vocal categories.

The Breakers can truly lay claim as one of Victoria’s premier country music bands. They showcase both original songs by Geoff Peterkin and classic hits spanning 50 years of country music.
Released in November ’03 their E.P. LOVE TRAINS & EVERYTHING is getting great support nationally on radio.  The band’s two, all original, albums to date are, SMILE, released November ‘01 and, GONE COUNTRY, released in December ’99. Both were recorded and produced by Geoff and have received critical acclaim and have sold well.
The band have been regulars at Australia’s major Country Music festivals over the past 6 years and they are also making a name for themselves in the role of ‘backing band’ at festivals.
